The West Barnstable Deer Club was established in 1946. Membership is limited to adults over the age of 21 and the total number of members is limited to maintain a close camaraderie among the members.

The Deer Club is a non-profit organization and, in addition to its fraternal activities, provides scholarships to the community and performs numerous other support activities to the community. In addition, we are sensitive to and fully supportive of the Town of Barnstable's conservation initiative.

The Deer Club is supported by member dues and fund raising activities, and by functions held on the Club grounds. The most famous event we host is the best Clam Bake on Cape Cod which we have done for over 48 years every August celebrating the end of summer.
